Can a psychic really predict my future?

This is one of the most common questions I am asked, in addition to 'Can you give me the lottery numbers?' The answer is both yes, and no. Here's why...

I believe we are all born with a working GPS inside of us. It manifests as a 'gut' feeling. It is different from our moral compass which is molded by our upbringing and societal influences. It is a feeling, and it can be classified as good or bad, on or off, right or wrong, without any inherent reason that we are aware of. Some call it 'Intuition', and we all have it in varying degrees, and it is what makes us all a little bit psychic. Some of us are really in tune with our intuition and receive strong gut feelings about people, places and situations. Have you ever gone into a crowd of people and just had a 'feeling', good or bad? That is you, picking up on the energy in the room.

Have you ever thought about someone, and then a few days later, received a call or a text from them, or ran into them in the street? Have you ever had Deja vu? Have you ever met someone for the first time and just 'knew' there was something about that person, or felt like you have known them for a thousand years? (you probably have!!!) I believe these experiences are all spiritual experiences that validate we are exactly where we are supposed to be, whether we want to be there or not.

It is possible to strengthen our intuition.

It takes work and exercise to strengthen your intuition, and exercising that intuitive muscle makes it stronger, easier to sense and more difficult to ignore. Our intuition can lead us away from trouble, or into it. Most often, when intuition is loud and clear, it can lead us where we are meant to go, for our greatest good, in line with the lessons we are meant to learn during our present incarnation on this planet. It is my intuition blended with your energy that allows me to read the energy in your past, present and future.

However, there is something else that we all have in us that is a god-(universe)given gift, and that is FREE WILL. Free will trumps absolutely EVERYTHING. We are all energetic, vibrational beings living a human experience, meant to grow and expand. We get to choose whether or not we listen to our intuition. We have the ability to make choices that affect the direction of our life, and so do those around us in our lives, whether those choices are in line with our intuition or not. There is much in our lives beyond our control, and this is so important to remember and accept.

It is also important to understand the difference between Free Will and forward momentum.

As energetic beings, we are living our lives, growing, expanding and gaining experience each day. That physical momentum of our lives cannot be halted (as much as we wish it could be sometimes). There are also times when we are compelled to take action without thinking, and this can also be classified as momentum. An example of this would be when we are driving and have to stop suddenly; we automatically put our hand in front of the person beside us in the passenger seat. Another example would be reaching to grab a child's hand as they are about to place it on something hot or in an electrical socket. We take those actions and many others without thinking, often calling it 'intuition' or 'auto pilot',. Momentum is automatic and doesn't involve a choice. Free will always does.

For this reason, (and I may be shooting myself in the foot by writing this ) no psychic, medium, tarot reader, astrologist, numerologist or intuitive can really 'predict' your future. Your Free Will can change the direction of your path, and the Free Will of others can change your path as well, sometimes by limiting your choices or opening them up. We 'psychic types' can read your energy, connect to the energy of your guides and loved ones and offer probabilities, but you are firmly in control of your choices; in the driver's seat in making decisions in your own life. Always.

And no, sorry, I don't have the lottery numbers.
